SciCo was awarded by The Hellenic Initiative (THI) with the Venture Impact Awards (VIA)

The Hellenic Initiative (THI) Venture Impact Awards (VIA) support Greece’s bright and innovative teams, helping them create ventures and projects that are scalable, sustainable and that create jobs.

The 2021 winning nominees were announced on December 13th at a virtual event. SciCo - Science Communication is very grateful to be one of the 4 participating teams that were awarded $25,000 each. A total amount of $285,000 was granted to 18 nominees.

SciCo’s persistent mission is to empower citizens and communities, mainly via science and technology. Always determined to combat scientific illiteracy, by upskilling youth, our team has run more than 200 projects in the last 8 years, impacting more than 300,000 people in Greece and beyond. Key to these achievements is our team’s multi-dynamic character, which merges science with humanism, digital upskilling, STEM education, environmental education and science communication.
