IOANNINA SCIENCE WEEKEND IS COMING, A TWO DAY EVENT DEDICATED TO SCIENCE!

The Organizing Team of Ioannina Science Festival, in collaboration with SciCo, invites you to the 1st Ioannina Science Weekend, an online event dedicated to science and innovation, which will take place through the official YouTube channel of the festival, on December 12 and 13, at 17:00-20:00, under the topic: "World of Science".

Following the successful organization of various Science Festivals in Athens (ASF), Thessaloniki (TSF), Larissa (THSF), and Cyprus (MSF), Ioannina (ISF) will host their own special event. Despite the adverse conditions brought by the pandemic, the team of Ioannina Science Festival is ready to highlight the charming side of science. After all, all the activities of Science Festivals include various, pioneering and at the same time fun events that cater to every age while maintaining its scientific character.

On December 12th and 13th the Ioannina Science Festival wants to come closer to its audience and celebrate science online, through popular speeches, which will inspire and allow us to get to know science better and learn more about it. The purpose of the event is not the academic tradition, for the purpose of learning, but the beautiful presentation of interesting aspects of science, through the eyes of experts.

Beloved to the general public individuals will be responsible for hosting and presenting the event.
