Accommodation and food conditions
The Conscious Impact camp is located at 1,400 meters in the foothills of the Himalayas and just 5 minutes walking from Takure, a village of about 200 homes. It includes a beautiful kitchen, common areas, camping and accommodation in earthen structures. Among the features are the “Common Space Tipi”, where we eat and share gratitude each night, the “Second Floor”, which includes a small library and yoga area and several beautiful outdoor gathering spaces. All spaces are constructed using natural materials, including bamboo, earth blocks, cob and earthbags. Volunteers and staff work together in the communal kitchen to create delicious, healthy, vegetarian meals. The water is filtered from a natural spring.
