YAKINTHI BATSI

Yakinthi Batsi is a Chemist with a Master's degree in "Medicinal Chemistry" from the University of Ioannina and holds a PhD on pharmaceutical chemistry from the National Research Foundation and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since May 2022 she works at the educational organization SciCo – Science Communication as a Social Media and Communication Strategist and she is the Project Leader of the educational programme Science Dreamers.

By combining scientific thinking and creativity, she tries to add a more artistic vibe to science communication. Voluntarily, with a group of scientists they created the website www.beconscious.gr, aiming to communicate science and raise environmental awareness among the general public.
