Maya Tripalitaki studied at the Department of Primary Education of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), holds a Master’s degree in STEM in Education, and has specialized in Special Education. Since 2013, she has worked as an educator across various formal and non-formal educational settings in Greece and France. For five years, she was active in refugee hosting facilities and Creative Activity Centers (KDAP) in Attica, designing and implementing educational programs in STEAM, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), robotics, art, and the Greek language. She has also provided guidance, support, and training to fellow educators, with a focus on Project-based Learning. To date, she has taught individuals ranging from age 5 to 91.
She has been collaborating with SciCo since 2023, operating across multiple sectors: creating and implementing educational programs and initiatives, drafting new project proposals, project management, science communication, and designing and conducting workshops for both educators and corporate clients.
The motivation and goal of her educational practice is to provide learning environments that respond to the diverse needs of learners, create opportunities for underprivileged groups and communities, and empower individuals in science through creative and innovative methodologies.
