Lena Panagiotarea graduated from the School of Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Business and Managerial Economics. During her university years she was actively involved in the international student organization AIESEC, where she served as a Board Member of the local committee, HR Manager and Head of the Higher Education and Sustainable Development programme, gaining early experience in leadership, project coordination and international collaboration.
With more than two decades of professional experience, Lena has worked across the private and third sector, collaborating with multinational companies, social enterprises and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining SciCo as Senior Project Manager, she worked with non-profit organizations managing large-scale initiatives and major events, while also developing fundraising partnerships with private companies through CSR and ESG initiatives. At SciCo, she leverages her extensive experience in project management to support the design and implementation of impactful science communication and STEM education programmes through the Vodafone Foundation’s Generation Next programme in Greece.
