JULIE KYRIAZI

Julie is a biologist with graduate studies in Environmental Biology. She holds a Ph.D. in Ecology Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since 2012 she has been working at SciCo as a Senior Manager and a member of one of the most innovative teams on science communication and education in Greece. During her working experience she has participated in the formation of the digital communication strategy of various science projects and has had the Coordination of the Athens Science Festival for 7 coherent years (ASF2014 - ASF2020) resulting in an outreach of more than 120,000 visitors and a partnership with more than 150 stakeholders in the field of science dissemination. At the same time she Co-Leads the strategy and operation design of 5 local Science Festival branches in Greece and Cyprus.

Dr. Panagiota Kyriazi is also working as environmental consultant and scientific advisor for activities regarding Education for the Sustainable Development. Over the last ten years, she has designed and applied programs of Education for Sustainability for children aged 4-18 years.
