Project Manager

SciCo is looking for an associate to fill the position of "Project Manager". This is a full-time opportunity to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collaboration with other teams involved in the projects providing guidance to both internal and external associates participating in each project
  • Oversee end-to-end projects delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Preparation and supervision of all project deliverables and final reports
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customers, understanding their needs and ensuring a seamless experience
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base
  • Representation of SciCo at events and meetings in Greece and abroad
  • Traveling to areas of interest to conduct trainings, supervise projects and develop strategic relationships with the local agencies

Required qualifications:

  • Holder of a master degree or higher
  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in a corresponding position
  • Very good use of oral and written language in Greek and English
  • Advanced computer skills

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, resourcefulness

STEM Educator

SciCo is looking for a full-time STEM Educator.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Coordinate educational programs of SciCo through communication with academic associates, academic advisors and the network of collaborating teachers.
  • Provide STEM training with an emphasis on project-based learning methods (through the creation of training tools, conducting workshops, etc.).
  • Use of educational tools, multimedia, and ratings to develop detailed educational guides and educational tools included in SciCo's educational programs.
  • Developing technology applications to promote learning, creativity, and group collaboration.
  • Design and implement educational STEM workshops and other events.
  • Permanent and excellent collaboration with teachers who apply SciCo out-of-school training programs. Coordinate and provide educational support on optimal implementation of STEM programs.
  • Staying updated on research developments and progress in STEM education and integrate new practices into SciCo's programs.
  • Initiative to develop new programs supporting the STEM education vision.
  • Writing proposals and manage them.
  • Contribute to the creation of educational guides for the implementation of SciCo's educational programs.

Required qualifications:

  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in a corresponding position.
  • Teaching experience (minimum 3 years).
  • Experience in teacher training and support.
  • Experience in writing proposals and European programs (eg Erasmus, Horizon, Creative Europe).
  • Basic programming skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.

Desired qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or any other STEM education related field.
  • Organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Grant Writer

SciCo is looking for an associate to fill the position of Grant writer. This is a full-time opportunity to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Research, identification, and qualification of funding opportunities from various sources
  • Preparation and writing of clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals
  • Development and maintenance of a portfolio of highly competitive grant proposals/applications
  • Collaboration with other team members to gather necessary information for proposal development
  • Management of the grant application process, including submission deadlines and reporting requirements

Required qualifications:

  • Proven experience in grant writing, proofreading and successful grant acquisition
  • Holder of a master degree or higher in relevant field
  • Ability to identify relevant funding opportunities
  • Very good use of oral and written language in Greek and English
  • Advanced computer skills
