
ANTONIS KYPARISSIS
STEM EDUCATOR
Antonis Kyparissis studied Physics at the University of Patras and holds a Master’s degree in the Use of Technology in Education from the University of Bristol. He works as an education consultant and STEAM Educator. He has taught in schools in London and collaborated with scientific institutions in Greece and abroad.
Since 2019, he has been collaborating with SciCo and the Athens Science Festival, where he designs and implements innovative STEAM programs for students, educators, and the wider public. These include Vodafone’s Generation Next, Alpha Bank’s Circular Economy in Practice, Lamda Development’s Smart Cities, and EcosySTEM | Science Bridges with the support of the National Geographic Society, as well as the international STEM Camp in Tanzania, showcasing the link between technology, education, and sustainability.
His work focuses on connecting digital technologies, the environment, and education through the use of microcontrollers, Arduino, micro:bit, artificial intelligence, VR/AR, and 3D printing across themes such as robotics competitions, smart gardens, and aquaponics. His goal is to empower students, educators, and local communities through creative learning experiences and the practical application of science to real-world challenges.
