An exciting energy project is being developed and implemented by SciCo, in collaboration with the British Council, the Radiotelevision of the Ministry of Education and Intelen Services limited.
The aim of the project is to develop an energy curriculum and recruit little Green Agents! Green Agents is a group of “secret spies” aged between 12 and 14 years old, whose mission is to understand the science behind current environmental issues, to help reduce electricity use in their schools and to spread the word in their community.
The curriculum developed is about sustainability and links everyday life (electricity usage and carbon footprint) with global environmental issues like the enhanced greenhouse effect and the climate change.
This programme was first presented as a Commitment for Action at Clinton Global Initiative University (www.cgiu.org) at Saint Louis in April 2013 and is supported by the Angelopoulos Fellowship 2013.
