We are hiring: EU Program Manager

SciCo is looking for an associate to fill the position of European Program Manager (Full-time job). As a European Project Manager you will undertake the management and monitoring of projects funded by the European Union and implemented by SciCo in collaboration with international partners and you will participate in the submission of EU funding applications.

Main duties and responsibilities: 

  • Designing, organization and implementation of project activities, such as communication activities, events, etc., according to the specifications and needs of the project
  • Research, identification, and qualification of funding opportunities from various sources
  • Preparation and writing of clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals
  • Collaboration with the internal team and external partners and coordination of the responsibilities and actions, when involved in any of the project deliverables
  • Ensuring valid and timely completion and creation of required reports and documents for the monitoring of the projects
  • Participation in the design of new activities and the development of new synergies
  • Development of strong working relationships with the SciCo team, with current and future collaborators as well as with the populations of interest to which our projects are addressed

Desired qualifications:

  • Graduate of a University, Technological Education Institute or corresponding foreign institution
  • Previous experience of 3+ years in a European program management position (Erasmus+, Horizon, etc.)
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the procedures and methodologies followed for the implementation of European projects 
  • Experience in writing proposals and European programs (eg Erasmus, Horizon, Creative Europe) will be considered an advantage
  • Very good use of spoken and writteni language in Greek and English and ability to represent SciCo at an international level
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, resourcefulness
  • Ability to work in groups and individually
  • Organizational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
