Edinburgh welcomes 2nd Mind the Lab on Waverley station, Saturday 16th of February, 2019
Following the success of the first Mind the Lab in Edinburgh (Haymarket station) on December 18, 2018, University of Edinburgh, in collaboration with SciCo, organizes for the second time, Mind the Lab at Waverley train station. On Saturday, February 16, train passengers at Waverley Station will have the opportunity to learn, discover and get stimulated by Math, Biology and Physics!
The University of Edinburgh will stimulate train passengers through exciting booths that will allow them to make exciting discoveries for themselves under the microscope! Furthermore, passengers will have the opportunity to experience artistic devices called Kallidoscopes and discover ferrofluids and photochromic fluids (that change color after shining ultra-violet light)!
Come and see some surprising magic, learn tricks to surprise your family and friends, solve some puzzles and meet our friendly researchers. Waverley train station, Saturday 16th of February 11:00-15:00.
