Matina Thermou

Stamatina was born in Athens in 1985. She holds a civil engineering diploma from Democritus University of Thrace. Since 2012, she has been working as a consultant and project manager and she has an interesting background in consultant services, grant writing, elegant leadership, project management on development projects and business development, especially in healthcare sector and education sector.

She had been an active member of SciCo for two years and mainly with the role of project manager she participated in various projects such as Athens Science Festival and BTL communication activities of the educational program Generation Next.

At SciCo, among other skills, she realized the value of teamwork and further developed the strong empathy that characterizes her personality, via the SciCo Ambassadors' program that she attended in 2018. She definitely supports the activities of the organization recognizing the importance of science communication in society. Today she is also interested in being capable to offer from every position with her experience, the positive and her calm approach and as a restless spirit constantly wants to explore every opportunity that may arise.
