Lily grew up dreaming of a better world for animals and curious to learn more about the Universe. Having graduated from the Physics department at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and following one of her dreams, she completed her studies in the Postgraduate Program of the same department in 2020, specializing in Astrophysics. During her studies, she participated voluntarily in a variety of events aimed at communicating science to the general public. At the same time, she was an active member of the science communication team Planets In Your Hand with which she won the award "Actions and Awareness campaigns" of the Science Communication Awards EΠI² 2019. As far as her dream for animals is concerned, she is actively involved in the rescue and the care of stray animals in the municipality where she resides.

The need for social contribution but also the involvement with the communication of science led her to the Athens Science Festival 2019 where she met SciCo and in the same year, she attended courses at the Academy of Ambassadors. In February 2021 she became a member of the organization having taken on the role of STEM Educator.
