Brain Awarness Week

Brain Awareness Week is the global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. It is held every March on the initiative of Dana Foundation in collaboration with research and local organizations (http://www.dana.org/baw/).

For the first time in Greece Brain Awareness Week took place from17 to 22 March at the 2nd Athens Science Festival, the Festival that is co-organized by SciCo (for additional information, please visit http://brainawareness.gr).

The hallmark event of the week was the seminar entitled “Uncovering the brain mysteries” supported by Onassis Scholar’s Association in collaboration with the Hellenic Society for Neurosciences.
