Anna has studied Physics in the University of Athens and has been distinguished in science communication in international competitions.She has published popular science articles in magazines and websites and she is the author of two science theatre shows presented in Greece in various occasions. She is experienced in the design and implementation of educational programmes, creating projects for partners like the Athens Music Hall and the National Hellenic Research Foundation.
She is also experienced in project management, having worked with the British Council and SciCo in many occasions, undertaking the organisation, development and management of many programmes such as School Lab (digital learning programme) and Big Dance (the educational programme of the London Cultural Olympiad 2012) for the needs of each she coordinated more than 1000 participants nationwide.
She has been contributing Athens Science Festival as Head of the Visitors’ Experience and Evaluation. She has worked with high-level co-organisers and key partners and she has supported the training and coordination of the Athens Science Festival volunteers. She has been also leading SciCo’s participation at the European Network MARCH collaborating with partners from Greece, Bulgaria, Portugal, Serbia, Germany, Lithuania and UK and she is experienced in science dissemination in European level. Since 2016 she lives and works in the UK.
