SciCo qualifies for Ashoka Impact!

The Ashoka organisation implements for the first time the Impact programme in Greece. The non-for-profit, non-governmental organisation Ashoka leads for 35 years the field of social entrepreneurship. Today it is the largest global network of social entrepreneurs – women and men who are applying in practice their innovative ideas for the systematic solution of social problems.

Having supported through the Impact Programme more than 102 initiatives in Europe, Ashoka aims to identify the most promising social purpose initiatives in Greece, to help them in an organisational level and to support their growth, in order to multiply their positive social impact.

The selection criteria for the participants included among others their innovative character, their positive social impact and their dynamic. The organisations selected are SciCo, Paths of Greece, Alma, Bloode, Recycle at source, Sarantaporo and Startup Boat.
